We meet all of our customers’ welding needs using MIG, TIG, impact, and resistance welding processes. We can weld a variety of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, iron, and galvanized steel.
We have a variety of robotic stations that allow us to automate processes and ensure repeatability with high levels of quality in metal welding.
We manufacture mechanically welded assemblies, utilizing a variety of technologies in their production—from engineering to laser cutting, bending, folding, punching, painting, and assembly—depending on the specific requirements of the metal assembly.

We have a professional team that enables us to weld iron parts, galvanized sheet metal parts, and aluminum parts for various industries, including the automotive, medical, street furniture, electrical, and construction sectors. Depending on the requirements of the part, we use either MIG or TIG welding.

Spot welding is another manufacturing service we offer our customers. The welding fixtures are always designed and built by our tooling shop.
Robotic welding stations
We are increasingly ensuring the quality of our parts by offering robotic welding processes. Currently, the range of welding robots we have at our plant allows us to weld assemblies or parts up to 2 meters in length, for both short and longer production runs. We ensure the quality and repeatability of our welds.
What types of metal welding do we perform?
The Welding is one of the most widely used techniques in the manufacture of metal parts and allows for the assembly of a wide variety of sheet metal, tubing, and structural sections. Through the application of heat—and sometimes pressure as well—part of the components is melted, or filler material is added. As the materials cool, a new metal part is formed that is characterized by high strength and ductility.
- TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, as its name suggests, is characterized by the use of an alloyed tungsten electrode. Thanks to tungsten’s high melting point, this technique produces a finer weld and therefore offers better aesthetic qualities, but it is more expensive. TIG welding with filler material ensures the weld’s strength.
- MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding is characterized by the use of metal inert gas (MIG) and employs a metal electrode that serves as filler material for the weld and is consumed during the process. This technique is faster and provides greater mechanical strength. It is also a less expensive welding process.
For large-scale production, manual welding has not been a cost-effective option for many years. With the advent of robotics, new technology in robotic welding stations enables high-precision assembly with both productivity and flexibility.
The type of metal welding is selected based on the parts and specifications provided by our customers, to whom we also offer consulting services through our technical engineering office.
Finally, our service also includes various types of finishing for welded parts, such as grinding, sanding, or cleaning for stainless steel parts.
Mechanical Welding for Metal Assemblies
The Mechanical welding, or mechano-welding, is a set of manufacturing methods that consists of to join several metal parts. The choice of process depends on the nature, shape, and thickness of the materials.
To ensure the successful industrial production of parts joined by mechanical welding, we carry out a comprehensive process: a pre-production phase, also known as the “product design process,” allows us to identify the appropriate solutions. This enables us to determine the feasibility, implementation time, and investment costs for the production of the welded assembly. This preliminary evaluation is conducted in close collaboration with the customer and continues through the installation of the production tooling. At JOM, we produce prototypes and pre-production runs to verify that the design and production methods are suitable for the intended purpose of each part.
We handle all the necessary stages involved in the manufacture of metal assemblies: laser cutting, bending, inserts, mechanical welding, finishing, and assembly.

- YASKAWA MOTOMAN ARC WORLD RS MINI Robotic Welding Station: This robotic welding station for sheet metal stands out for its modern design and compact size. The ArcWorld Mini system was designed to provide flexible options that enable efficient use of space. The robot cell is fully enclosed, facilitating the robot’s movement and the integration of robotic technology into the welding application. Finally, this station helps increase production output and translates that agility and speed into our clients’ projects that require this welding operation.
- ABB IRB2400 Robotic Welding Unit: The IRB 2400 is a highly efficient robot for arc welding, processing, and laying. It enables high welding performance and produces highly precise welds where tight tolerances are required.
- ABB IRB 1400 Robotic Welding System: The ABB IRB 1400 is a fast and reliable robot that is ideal for nearly all arc welding applications and the handling of small parts.
- SUNNARC Spot Welding Machine: This machine performs a type of welding classified as non-melting welding of the base metal to be welded; furthermore, no filler material is required to join the two pieces. It is considered a fast, clean, and strong welding method.
- Manual MIG/MAG Welding Units (Wire) At JOM, we have a team of professionals specializing in manual welding who can produce small quantities of metal parts.
- Manual TIG Welding Units Our team of welding specialists is also proficient in the TIG technique and can use it to produce metal parts for small production runs, prototypes, or pre-production runs.
